Untuk menentukan kualitas baglog yang baik diperlukan proses pengepresan baglog yang bertujuan memperoleh volume media tanam yang lebih padat dan seragam agar pertumbuhan miselium merata. Dalam proses produksi di UMKM Omah Jamur Ungaran terdapat masalah pada proses pengepresan yang masih menggunakan alat press manual dengan satu tabung sehingga proses pengepresan masih relatif lama. Quality Function Deployment dan House of Quality digunakan dalam perancangan alat guna merespons kebutuhan pelanggan sehingga menghasilkan hubungan antara kebutuhan pelanggan dan kebutuhan teknis dalam perancangan alat. The current problem faced by the company is the inefficiency in monthly report creation process. The existing method required over five working days to complete all monthly reports due to the reliance on manual report compilation. There are 34 gates spanning across the warehouse side allowing for 34 simultaneous product movement process. It is very challenging to find out which process is happening at which gate without a single interface showing the information. The root cause analysis finds that the source problem is individual document storage and the data input method causes many incomplete and inconsistent data records resulting in a long time needed to check or validate data that will be reported. This research aims to make improvements in process efficiency and data completeness using System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method, from planning, analysis, design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance As a result, this new system which utilizes Microsoft Excel VBA for automation and data manipulation has succeeded in optimizing loading and unloading data recording, resulting in more complete and consistent data records. This allows the user to create monthly report more efficiently which needs less time and recheck. PPE showed that the production of calliper brackets failed to meet monthly targets for four consecutive months. Investigations carried out by the team showed that the inability to meet production targets was caused by waiting and transportation activity, which can cause longer production lead times. Some wastes were found, such as waiting for a forklift, and transportation of material movings between workstations. To overcome this problem, PT. PPE uses 5S, one of the lean manufacturing tools. The research began with direct observation to determine the actual production floor situation. The next stage is the problem identification process using Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Process Activity Mapping (PAM), spaghetti diagram, and fishbone diagram. Some 5S-based corrective actions implemented include sorting unused goods, arranging materials, maintaining cleanliness, updating work instructions, and creating a 5S check sheet. The result of implementing 5S in calliper bracket production was that lead time decreased from 8.05 days to 5.53 days or 31.30%. Hot water immersion and steam treatments need to be carried out to improve the physical and mechanical properties of sengon wood particleboard. This research aims to evaluate the effect of hot water immersion and steam treatments on the physical and mechanical properties of sengon wood particleboard (Falcataria moluccana). Sengon wood particles were treated with hot soaking at temperature of 80<sup>o</sup>C for 120 minutes and steam treatment at a temperature of 126<sup>o</sup>C with a pressure of 1.4 MPa for 60 minutes. Particleboard was made with dimensions of 30 cm x 30 cm x 0,9 cm. Physical and mechanical properties testing refers to JIS A 5908-2003 standard. One of the key elements in inventory management is safety stock, which serves to anticipate demand uncertainties and supply chain disruptions. This study aims to analyze the demand pattern of packaging production at PT Empat Perdana Carton, apply the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) forecasting method, and determine the optimal amount of safety stock. Production demand data was collected from January 2020 to December 2023 and analyzed using Minitab software. The research findings indicate that the ARIMA (4,0,3) model is the best-performing model, with a Mean Square Error (MSE) of 7,557.63. Based on the forecasting results, safety stock calculations were conducted at various service levels (90%-99%). The results show that the optimal safety stock ranges from 189 to 344 units, depending on the selected service level. Not only products but also raw materials have expiration dates. Manufacturers strive to produce high-quality products for consumers, necessitating the use of high-quality raw materials before their expiration dates. Raw materials should be used in the order of arrival, as earlier arrivals typically have earlier expiration dates. Therefore, a first-in-first-out (FIFO) system is crucial in raw material procurement for production processes. PT. Bina Adidaya, a manufacturing company established in 1990, produces various types of paint products. The company has implemented a FIFO system for raw material procurement, but challenges arise due to the increasing number of raw material types, leading to storage buildup. To facilitate FIFO implementation, a planning system for new raw material placement is necessary. Three methods are considered for this planning: dedicated storage, randomized storage, and class-based storage. Based on calculations, the optimal combination is a longitudinal layout with a class-based storage method, offering a storage capacity of 248 pallets and a total displacement distance of 29,665 meters. The current raw material service level is 98.51%.
