About the Journal
FOCUS AND SCOPE
The journal focuses on publishing scientific articles that cover community service activities from all fields of science.
PEER REVIEW PROCESS
Academics in Action journal editorial board members have experience in community service. The articles sent to the Journal are always reviewed by two members of the Editorial Board (blind peer review), and in some cases, if necessary, by another external reviewer. The decision of the article publication is depending on the evaluation reports from the members of the Editorial Board. The article evaluation process takes approximately six months. All comments from the reviewers should be taken into account seriously, otherwise, the Journal cannot guarantee publication of the manuscript.
The journal is published twice a year, in June and December. Individual accepted articles can be published as soon as they are ready.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
PLAGIARISM POLICY
Academics in Action journal has a policy of screening for plagiarism. We process articles with similarity maximum of 20%. We use Anti-Plagiarism Software "Turnitin" to check the authenticity article.
Academics in Action does not charge any fee for article submission, processing, or publication.
